Aluminum Compression

Aluminum compression splices are forged from pure aluminum and are provided with an integral solid center barrier. They are supplied pre-filled with oxide inhibitor and supplied with color-coded caps. Easy push-through caps reduce the push force by 25%, prevent contamination during storage and installation and ensure that the oxide inhibitor covers the strands of the conductor. The oxide inhibitor ensures a tight, highly-conductive connection and keeps dirt, air and it also eliminates the effects of galvanic corrosion. Can be installed with either hydraulic or hand tools.

For dead-ending self-supporting drop wire, saves conductor - drop drop wire may be cut to exact length.  Can be attached to bare neutral in any point in the span, adjustment in drop wire sag are easily made, grips ACSR, AAAC or aluminum conductor.

For combinations of aluminum and aluminum-copper conductors, standard compression tools and dies install in all size.  Formable ribs provide broader contact area, fold-in tabs provide positive tab interlock as tool closes, all connectors reversible and made of 1350 aluminum alloy.
